Job Description/Responsibilities The Materials Manager leads all material planning, inventory management, and supplier coordination to ensure uninterrupted production operations.

This role oversees bottling components such as labels, bottles, and caps while driving inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who enjoys developing teams, optimizing processes, and partnering across departments to support manufacturing success. What You'll Do Lead inventory management, purchasing, and material planning for bottling components to ensure production requirements are met. Supervise the Materials team, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Partner with production scheduling, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate material availability, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory within System 21. Identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and capital projects that improve department efficiency and productivity. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and customers, ensuring exceptional service and timely communication regarding inventory and material movements. Qualifications/Requirements Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. 5+ years of materials management, inventory control, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience. Previous people management or supervisory experience. Experience working with inventory management or ERP systems in a manufacturing environment. Preferred MBA. Experience within the beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or alcohol beverage industry. Experience managing employees in a union manufacturing environment.
