REGIONALLOGISTICS MANAGER IN FRANKLIN, KY
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Regional Logistics Manager to join our team in Franklin, KY. This individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing transportation and logistics operations across multiple locations within an assigned region. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7+ years of transportation, logistics, brokerage, freight management, or 3PL experience. Apply online and kickstart your career today! Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $36 to $41/hour, paid weekly Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Full time schedule Located in Franklin, KY Duties and Responsibilities Lead and oversee transportation and logistics operations across multiple locations within an assigned region. Develop and implement transportation strategies to improve service, efficiency, cost control, and operational performance. Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), transportation regulations, and safety requirements. Provide leadership and direction to Logistics Managers, Supervisors, Dispatch Teams, and Transportation Coordinators. Establish and monitor regional KPIs, service metrics, carrier performance standards, and operational objectives. Oversee transportation planning, load management, carrier selection, and shipment execution to ensure optimal service levels. Manage carrier relationships, negotiate transportation rates, and develop strategic partnerships to support business growth. Review transportation spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure timely communication regarding shipment status, operational issues, and customer service concerns. Analyze transportation data, trends, and operational performance to drive informed business decisions. Lead regional problem-solving efforts related to service failures, capacity constraints, carrier performance, and customer escalations. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance teams to align transportation strategies with business objectives. Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across all locations. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 7+ years of transportation, logistics, brokerage, freight management, or 3PL experience. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing transportation teams, managers, or multi-site operations. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, transportation compliance, carrier management, routing, and freight optimization. Experience managing transportation operations across multiple facilities, customers, or geographic regions preferred. Demonstrated success leading large teams and driving operational improvements in fast-paced environments. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, and performance management. Ability to travel as required to support regional operations. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS), routing software, carrier management platforms, and reporting tools. Preferred experience with systems such as TruckMate, PC Miler, RoadNet, Fleetmatics, or similar transportation technologies. Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data. Reasoning AbilityAbility to communicate effectively with executives, customers, carriers, and operational teams at all levels of the organization.
