Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Parts Manager to lead our parts department with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of tractor/trailer parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and repair team. Your expertise will drive efficiency, optimize supply chain processes, and foster strong relationships with suppliers. Responsibilities Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including sourcing, ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing tractor/trailer parts and accessories. Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards. Utilize inventory management systems and ERP software to track stock levels, perform demand planning, and execute accurate data entry for parts administration. Collaborate with mechanic to understand parts requirements, support vehicle diagnostics, and facilitate timely repairs using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Implement demand planning strategies to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory while optimizing warehouse space. Lead procurement management initiatives by sourcing high-quality parts through effective negotiation and supplier management experience. Maintain excellent internal communication channels to coordinate order management system updates, pricing adjustments, etc. Qualifications Strong knowledge of diagnostics, systems, and parts & accessories.. Demonstrated ability in procurement management, sourcing parts efficiently through negotiation skills. Mechanical knowledge of repair processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with internal communication protocols and data entry procedures related to parts administration. Valid forklift certification preferred.

$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
