The pay ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, experience dependent. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, with overtime, weekend, and after-hours work as needed. Position Summary The Logistics and Material Supply Manager oversees transportation, material supply, and stockpile operations across multiple project sites. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while maintaining alignment with project schedules and operational demands. The Material Supply Manager leads trucking operations, coordinates with internal project teams and third-party carriers, manages material inventories, and supports the integration of trucking, marine, and rail transportation. This position also oversees vendor relationships, logistics pricing, cost forecasting, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support reliable material supply and overall project success. Responsibilities and Duties Oversee trucking operations and transportation resources across multiple project sites to meet project schedules and material demands. Coordinate daily trucking requirements, forecasts, scheduling, and resource allocation with Project Managers, Materials, and field teams. Direct the Trucking Coordinator, site spotters, and field logistics activities to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and material handling. Source, onboard, and manage third-party trucking companies and independent haulers while maintaining strong vendor relationships and competitive pricing. Ensure transportation providers meet company safety standards, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations. Manage daily material delivery requests, stockpile inventories, material quantities, and inventory reconciliations. Coordinate trucking operations with marine and rail transportation to maintain continuity of material supply. Provide trucking rates, capacity information, and logistics cost data to support estimating, bidding, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Monitor transportation costs, vendor performance, operational KPIs, and inventory levels to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements. Prepare daily and weekly logistics reports and communicate operational performance, risks, and requirements to project and executive leadership. Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure logistics operations comply with company safety policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Provide on-site and after-hours support, including participation in weekend and on-call rotations, as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, materials management, supply chain, or a related leadership role. Experience managing trucking operations, material supply, stockpile inventory, and third-party transportation providers. Experience in construction, heavy civil, industrial, marine, infrastructure, aggregates, or related industries preferred. Working knowledge of multimodal transportation, including trucking, marine, and rail operations. Experience with transportation pricing, cost forecasting, vendor management, and operational performance tracking. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics, transportation, inventory, or related management systems. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening Physical Requirements Extended periods of sitting and computer use. Ability to manage a large workload and multiple competing priorities. Ability to meet deadlines and respond to urgent business matters. Ability to travel periodically to company offices, project sites, legal proceedings, and industry meetings as needed.
