Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Dealership Parts Manager to oversee the parts department at our automotive dealership. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating with service and sales teams, and ensuring efficient parts operations to support overall dealership performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of parts department staff. Compensation is based on experience; certification is not required as training will be provided if needed. Duties Manage daily operations of the dealership's parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and stocking of parts. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of parts to ensure timely availability for service and sales departments. Lead and supervise parts department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with service technicians and sales personnel to fulfill parts requests efficiently. Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, sales, and procurement activities. Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and improve turnover rates. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal departments and external clients. Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations. Participate in ongoing training; schooling will be provided if necessary to support your success in this role. Experience Prior experience managing a parts department or similar role within an automotive dealership or related industry is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to motivate staff and coordinate with other departments. Knowledge of inventory management systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding service are essential for success in this position.
