Role:

Lead sourcing strategy and supplier management for high-value, technically complex categories critical to VulcanForms? production. This role requires strategic depth, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate independently while partnering across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop multiyear sourcing and cost-reduction roadmaps aligned with company growth plans
• Lead sourcing strategies for technically complex and high-value categories
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, capacity commitments, lead times, and long-term supply terms
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level supplier relationships
• Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with global suppliers
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve supplier quality, cost, delivery, and overall performance
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to align supply-chain strategies with business requirements
• Mentor and support junior Global Supply Chain Managers in project execution and negotiation strategy
• Identify and mitigate supplier, capacity, quality, and delivery risks
• Track and report sourcing performance, cost savings, lead-time improvements, and supplier metrics
• Drive continuous improvement across supplier-management and sourcing processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s degree required; MBA or technical degree preferred
• Seven-plus years of progressive experience in sourcing or supply chain management
• Demonstrated success managing strategic suppliers in a global manufacturing environment
• Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively influence cross-functional teams
• Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives

Preferred:

• Experience with supplier development, qualification, and risk assessments
• Understanding of cost structures for machined, cast, or fabricated components
• Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and lead-time reductions
• Experience managing technically complex or direct-material categories
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth manufacturing environment
• Experience working with global suppliers and geographically distributed supply chains

Compensation:

• \$113,000
• \$156,000 annually
• Actual compensation is based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
