Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here As our Logistics Manager, you will oversee the daily movement of inbound and outbound materials while coordinating transportation, dispatch, inventory movement, and customer service across multiple operational functions. Success in this role requires a hands-on leader who understands the pace of industrial operations, can build strong relationships with carriers and customers, and excels at balancing operational efficiency, safety, and profitability. Experience in recycling, scrap metals, manufacturing, construction materials, aggregates, waste, or other heavy industrial environments is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records. Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Negotiate contracts and rates with transportation providers. Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or delays. Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements. Analyze logistics data and prepare performance reports. Manage logistics budgets and control operational expenses. Lead, train, and supervise logistics and warehouse staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management. Strong knowledge of inventory management and distribution systems. Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
