BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Receiving and Inventory Supervisor to lead daily receiving, unloading, and inventory control operations in a high-volume wholesale environment. This role oversees inbound shipments, verifies paperwork and product accuracy, maintains stock levels, and ensures inventory is organized, labeled, and recorded correctly in systems. The supervisor schedules and directs team members, enforces safety and loss-prevention standards, and partners with merchandising and operations to support product availability for members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with warehouse systems and equipment, and committed to integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Oversee daily receiving, unloading, and check-in of inbound shipments Verify product quantities, quality, and documentation against purchase orders Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse/club systems Organize, label, and stage products to support efficient stocking and picking Supervise, schedule, and coach receiving and inventory team members Monitor and improve inventory accuracy, shrink control, and compliance Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment and adherence to safety standards Coordinate with merchandising and operations to support product availability Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies Support continuous improvement initiatives in receiving and inventory processes Required Skills Inventory control Warehouse management systems (WMS) Data entry and reporting Cycle counting Receiving and shipping procedures Forklift and material handling equipment operation Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools Loss prevention and shrink control Team leadership and scheduling Safety and OSHA compliance
