Materials Manager

AWC is hiring a Materials Manager for our Baltimore Fairfield location in the Curtis Bay area of Baltimore MD. This is a salaried position with a range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year that is paid weekly plus yearly Bonus eligible. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market considerations. Summary of Position:

This position oversees the Materials Department and directs the associates in that department. It also interacts with AWC management, vendors, and customers, to ensure all inventory counts and part levels are accurate and appropriate.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Tasks:

Manage the inventory control process for all incoming, outgoing, and existing materials using VIPS and other related spreadsheets Support the monitoring of daily production activity. Generate daily status report detailing inventory deficiencies. Review information with the Operations Manager and Terminal Manager. Maintain and log all warranty and internal claims on spreadsheets. Insure customer receives all necessary documentation via fax Create Bill of Ladings for all shipments Dispense materials to the Accessory associates. Perform a monthly, weekly, and daily physical inventory of all parts Perform annual cycle counting Communicate parts challenges to the Terminal Manage Assist with periodic inspections of the forklift condition and operation Assist with training new associates and temporary workers React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned Complete all other duties assigned by the management

Terminal Manager Education, Experience, and Minimum Requirements:

College degree and/or equivalent of five years' work experience working in the parts and inventory field
