Lead NIAID logistics, relocation, occupancy, inventory, and operational projects and provide workforce coordination, customer interface, financial reporting, and executive documentation. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct relocation planning meetings and develop detailed relocation, occupancy, transition, sequencing, and implementation plans. Assess mission dependencies and operational impacts and plan movement of scientific equipment, research materials, temperature-controlled assets, furniture, and specialized laboratory resources. Develop labor, equipment, material, resource, budget, and schedule estimates; coordinate staging, storage, inventory, asset tracking, vendors, and access. Lead logistics and relocation staff; assign work, monitor status, communicate with customers, and coordinate competing priorities. Track relocation requests through Government systems and monitor performance, risk, schedule, cost, and issue resolution. Develop logistics SOPs, quality controls, project records, reports, presentations, financial reports, relocation plans, and closeout reports. Support workplace optimization, space utilization, renovation occupancy, and mission continuity. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum 17-19 years of related experience, including at least five years in a managerial or leadership role. Demonstrated experience managing complex logistics, relocation, facility, or operational projects. Experience supporting laboratory, healthcare, scientific, research, or federal environments. Knowledge of project management, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, inventory, and resource planning. Strong communication and executive-reporting skills and ability to maintain Government credentials and access. Preferred Qualifications 29 years of logistics, distribution, inventory, operations, or project-management experience. Direct NIAID logistics and relocation leadership experience.
