_PARAGRAPH JOB_DESCRIPTION.SHARE.HTML Alma, Michigan Clerical/Admin Support varies Part-Time Day Shift Supply Distribution 48631 Job Description Summary This position is responsible for ensuring that inventory and direct ship supplies are received and distributed in a timely manner throughout the Health System. This involves managing the supply flow of the storeroom inventory items by receiving stock from vendors, restocking the shelves, picking order, delivering supplies, and maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly environment. Responsibilities 25%)- Receive all incoming materials/supplies in accordance with generally accepted practices. Unloads and secures goods. Separates, verifies, researches, documents and distributes all items receivable. Ensures that proper temperature and carton integrity exists per packaging instructions. Note discrepancies and damage if applicable. Resolve issues in a timely manner. (25%)
- Complete supply requisitions by removing from inventory those items requested, packaging the order, staging for delivery. (25%)
- Organize stock locations to maintain the most efficient workflow, relabel shelves, and change item locations in the Materials Information System. Maintain a neat, clean and orderly storeroom. Ensures proper rotation of stock during restock process. (25%)
- Distribute/deliver stock and nonstock orders throughout the Health System, depending on location.
