  • Full-time ​The Mission ​The mission of the Logistics Site Manager (LSM) is to oversee day-to-day site operations, including inventory management, dispatch coordination, customer communication, and overall service performance.
Working closely with corporate leadership, customers, carrier partners, and internal teams, the LSM ensures efficient transportation operations, timely delivery execution, and peak levels of customer satisfaction. ​This is an operationally focused leadership role accountable for operational efficiency, safety compliance, swift problem resolution, key performance indicator (KPI) achievement, and long-term site profitability. By balancing effective resource management with continuous process improvement, you will drive operational excellence and lead site execution from the front lines. ​Scope of Impact ​ Operations, Dispatch & Inventory Oversight ​
Site Execution:
Oversee daily transportation operations, staging vehicles in advance when necessary to reduce dwell time and support seamless dispatch execution. ​
Real-Time Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate, real-time inventory visibility by ensuring inbound and outbound vehicle statuses are updated promptly and discrepancies are resolved quickly. ​
Order & Flow Management:
Track and manage active and scheduled orders to prevent operational bottlenecks, providing customers with real-time updates and actionable insights. ​
Continuous Improvement:
Drive operational consistency through immediate corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and continuous process optimization. ​ Team Leadership & Financial Management ​
Supervisory Leadership:
Directly manage, coach, and develop supervisory staff and dispatch personnel to foster a high-performance, safety-focused culture. ​
Cost & Rate Negotiation:
Negotiate competitive carrier rates and balance cost considerations with top-tier service quality to maximize site profitability and maintain strong partnerships. ​
Financial Reporting & Growth:
Gather and communicate critical data on inventory, budgets, revenue, and operational risks to corporate leadership while identifying key opportunities for revenue growth. ​ Customer Satisfaction, Safety & Compliance ​ Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Adherence:
Ensure strict customer compliance with established SLAs, proactively resolving service issues to guarantee accurate and timely delivery. ​
Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with carriers, customers, and vendors to ensure transparent communication and network reliability. ​
Safety & Crisis Response:
Promote a resilient commitment to safety regulations and respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations as they arise. Profile of Excellence ​

An analytical, diagnostic decision-maker who stays calm, organized, and focused under pressure, using root-cause analysis to turn operational challenges into standardized solutions. ​License and Experience Requirements ​
Education:
Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. ​
Experience Level:
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or fleet operations, with proven supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced environment. ​
Industry & Systems Background:
Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), inventory platforms, and advanced Microsoft Office applications. Experience in automotive transportation or vehicle logistics is considered a strong asset. ​
Operational & Financial Acumen:
