Monday-Friday Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity within a manufacturing environment. This position will oversee purchasing, material planning, inventory control, supplier management, and logistics while ensuring materials are available to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing, material planning, inventory control, and logistics activities. Ensure materials and components are available to meet production schedules. Manage supplier relationships, pricing, lead times, quality, and on-time delivery. Negotiate supplier pricing, contracts, and delivery agreements. Monitor inventory levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory. Identify potential material shortages and develop solutions to prevent production delays. Manage supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, and capacity issues. Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation and logistics. Support production planning, forecasting, and customer requirements. Develop and monitor supply chain KPIs, including supplier performance, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost savings. Identify cost-reduction and continuous improvement opportunities. Support new product launches and engineering changes. Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information within ERP/MRP systems. Lead and develop supply chain, purchasing, planning, and logistics team members. Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Finance. Requirements 5+ years of Supply Chain, Purchasing, Materials, or Logistics experience . Previous leadership or management experience required. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Strong experience with purchasing, supplier management, inventory control, and material planning . Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Plex, Oracle, Epicor, or similar. Strong supplier negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage material shortages and changing production demands. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Preferred Qualifications Automotive, aerospace, or high-volume manufacturing experience. Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.APICS/ASCM
certification such as CPIM or CSCP. Experience working with domestic and international suppliers. Knowledge ofISO 9001, IATF
16949, or AS9100 environments. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering a competitive salary of $140,000-$160,000 annually, based on experience.Pay:
