Job Description
Qualifications:
Active Michigan school social worker certification (310). Please provide a copy with your application. If certification is not yet held, appropriate supervision arrangements must be secured prior to interview consideration. Prior experience or training in K-12 and Special Education settings is highly valued. Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, advocacy, and resource facilitation skills.Key Responsibilities:
Support students' academic, social, and emotional success by providing counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services. Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized interventions and plans. Facilitate access to community resources and connect families with supportive services. Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and assist in creating safe, inclusive learning environments. Maintain compliance with all applicable practices, policies, and certification standards.
