Job Purpose Manage the day-to-day operations of all inventory functions to ensure that client's orders are fulfilled and inventory requests/issues are handled in a timely manner; with a continuous focus on maximizing productivity, efficiencyaccuracy. You have direct influence over the productivity, processes, planning, training, equipment, and personnel, as you oversee the day-to-day inventory operations, with a continuous focus on the company's operational objectives and our five core values... Duties and Responsibilities Oversea the daily inventory/stock control function; including the stock and inventory teams who are responsible for pulling inventory to fulfill orders and keeping all zones stocked and organized. Devise and implement process improvements to optimize inventory control procedures. Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the job purpose; which includes adjusting employee hours, as we gear up and down or as workflow dictates. Responsible for leading and motivating employees to perform at their highest level. Establish clear expectations and accountability; Collaborates with HR on evaluating performance, counsel, discipline, hiring, firing, and promoting. Communicate with other departments and clients, as needed, to ensure all warehouse issues are resolved as quickly as possible. Communicate with the Operations Management team on critical stock/inventory issues; particularly warehouse layoutprocess improvements. Attend Manager's Meetings and communicate with staff about any changes in operations in a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for understanding and delivering metric-based employee improvements. Ensure a safe workplace by enforcing all safety rules and by promoting awareness and accountability. Ensure staff understands and adheres to all company policies. Proficient in operating all equipment within the warehouse; including forklifts, reach trucks, computer systems, and pallet jacks. Perform any additional duties as required.
