Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel General Engineering Help! In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and smooth operation of our hotel's facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems will help uphold our high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting while contributing to memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior features to ensure optimal operation. Use hand tools, schematics, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Support with welding, carpentry, painting, and other facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel's appearance and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections following MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) procedures. Collaborate with team members to perform preventive maintenance on facilities equipment and assist in emergency repairs when needed. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, or mechanical components. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within the hospitality or residential sector. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair. Familiarity with schematics, electrical equipment repair, building interior maintenance, and the use of hand tools. Knowledge of welding techniques and carpentry skills to support various repair projects. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Ability to communicate effectively in English; strong customer service skills are a plus. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
