$20 per hour Raizan Solutions LLC is hiring an Inventory Team Lead for one of our clients in Troy, Michigan. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 5-6 Inventory Specialists involved in order picking, inventory handling, and shipment preparation. The Team Lead will be responsible for making sure orders are completed accurately, inventory lists are properly reviewed, and the correct products and quantities are prepared before shipment. Accuracy and accountability are extremely important in this position. The ideal candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the team's work. Shipping errors, incorrect quantities, and overlooked inventory discrepancies can directly impact customers, so this person must take the responsibility seriously and carefully verify completed work. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee a team of approximately 5-6 Inventory Specialists during daily operations. Assign and coordinate order-picking and inventory responsibilities among team members. Review order lists, inventory records, and completed picking sheets submitted by Inventory Specialists. Verify that the correct products, quantities, and order details have been picked before orders move to shipping. Perform final checks on completed orders to help prevent incorrect or incomplete shipments. Ensure inventory specialists accurately record completed orders and inventory activity. Monitor inventory movement within dry-storage, freezer, and cold-storage areas. Investigate and address missing, damaged, incorrect, or misplaced inventory. Make sure products are properly organized, labeled, staged, and prepared for shipment. Communicate immediately when inventory shortages, order discrepancies, or shipping concerns are identified. Maintain organized inventory and order documentation. Hold team members accountable for accuracy, productivity, attendance, and following procedures. Train and guide Inventory Specialists on proper picking, verification, inventory, and shipping processes. Help resolve questions or problems that occur during order fulfillment. Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, and management personnel when necessary. Maintain an organized and efficient work environment. Ensure employees follow freezer-area, warehouse, shipping, and workplace safety procedures. Step in and assist with picking, inventory handling, or order preparation when operationally necessary. Perform other inventory and warehouse leadership duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in inventory, warehousing, order picking, shipping, distribution, or fulfillment required. Previous experience as a team lead, shift lead, warehouse lead, inventory lead, or similar position strongly preferred. Experience supervising or coordinating the work of a small warehouse or inventory team is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify order or inventory errors. Must be comfortable reviewing other employees' work and holding the team accountable for accuracy. Ability to accurately read and follow order sheets, picking lists, product information, and inventory records. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be dependable, punctual, responsible, and consistent. Ability to stay focused while handling multiple orders and priorities. Comfortable working inside dry-freezer and cold-storage environments . Ability to remain active and on your feet throughout the shift. Must be comfortable working in a hands-on leadership role rather than only supervising from a desk. Must be available to work full-time during the day shift.
