We're hiring a Supply Chain Manager on behalf of our growing client in the North metro. This is a direct hire role.
Salary :
$110,000-$120,000 This role is responsible for leading and developing supply chain strategies to ensure cost effective procurement, planning and inventory control. Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies supporting aerospace production and business goals. Oversee procurement, sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations, and supplier performance. Ensure supplier compliance with AS9100, FAA, ITAR, FAR/DFAR, and other aerospace requirements. Optimize inventory, lead times, material flow, and logistics to support on-time delivery. Lead and mentor buyers, planners, logistics, and warehouse teams. Establish KPIs for supply chain performance, cost savings, and suppliers. Maintain strategic supplier relationships and lead supplier development. Implement ERP/MRP systems and support Lean/continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 5-10 years of progressive supply chain/operations experience 3+ years in aerospace or defense manufacturing. Strong knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, FAR/DFAR, and aerospace quality requirements. ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar). Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. APICS/CPIM or PMP certification preferred. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency may be required for defense contracts.
