Supply Chain and Logistics Lead

About the Role As a Supply Chain and Logistics Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end flow of materials, ensuring that production schedules are met through optimized inventory management and efficient distribution strategies. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by streamlining warehouse processes and enhancing logistics performance to support organizational growth. Responsibilities Direct inbound and outbound logistics, including carrier management and freight optimization to ensure cost-effective delivery. Design and implement warehouse layout strategies to maximize storage utilization and improve material handling productivity. Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy by leading cycle count programs and reconciling physical stock discrepancies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align shipping activities with customer commitments and internal production requirements. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track shipping accuracy, on-time delivery, and overall warehouse efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to resolve operational bottlenecks and standardize best practices across the facility. Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure service levels and transportation efficiency are consistently met. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics management. Proven ability to utilize ERP systems for inventory tracking and data analysis. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on corrective action and process improvement. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external carriers. Preferred Skills Certification in APICS or similar supply chain professional designation. Experience managing 3PL partnerships and complex distribution networks. Demonstrated success in leading lean manufacturing or continuous improvement projects. Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and warehouse management software (WMS).
