Inventory Control Supervisor, 1st shift
Pay:
$38.45/hr to $43.25/hr (Eligible for Overtime Pay)

Medical & dental insurance, ESOP, profit‑sharing, PTO, and more (details below) About the Role This role plays a key part in keeping our purchasing and inventory operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with various Operations Leaders, manage and support daily workflow, and help maintain accurate, organized systems that prevent shortages and keep production moving. Success here comes from staying detail‑focused, managing the team's priorities, communicating clearly, and solving issues with a sense of urgency. What You'll Do Manage and maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, production parts, machine parts, maintenance parts, tooling, and supplies. Supervise and provide day-to-day directions to inventory and material-handling employees. Train employees in inventory procedures, organization, material handling, and proper documentation. Maintain organized and clearly identified inventory and storage areas. Ensure materials and parts are properly received, stored, issued, counted, and replenished. Establish and maintain appropriate minimum/maximum inventory levels for critical parts and supplies. Perform and oversee cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies. Work closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure materials and parts are available when needed. Improve inventory systems, processes, layout, labeling, and overall efficiency. Help prevent machine downtime caused by unavailable maintenance or replacement parts. What We're Looking For Previous experience in inventory control, manufacturing, materials management, maintenance parts, or a related field. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to train, lead, and hold employees accountable. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with inventory or ERP/MRP software preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments. Must be a self-starter who can identify problems and take action without constant direction.
