Job Description Position Summary FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system located in central North Carolina. FirstHealth is seeking an experienced healthcare supply chain leader to oversee system-wide Materials Management operations, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Central Supply, Sterile Processing, Distribution Services, and Laundry Operations. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations of materials management and supply chain services across the health system. Manage purchasing, inventory control, contract compliance, and vendor relationships. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and performance improvement strategies. Oversee departmental budgets, capital equipment acquisitions, and financial performance. Partner with physicians, clinical leaders, and department directors on product evaluations and supply utilization. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, safety, and infection control standards. Develop and mentor leadership teams and staff.
