Inventory Supervisor Pineville, NC ⏰ 1st Shift | Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM We're hiring an Inventory Supervisor to keep our local manufacturing and logistics operations running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to keep inventory flowing, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
Purchase raw materials, track POs, and coordinate vendor deliveries. Work closely with production and logistics to prevent material shortages.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Essential Functions
  • 1) Processes new jobs: Orders materials for new jobs, records material cost on cost card, distribute P.O., part cards, cost cards, and job cards as needed.
  • 2) Locates sources of supply and check's reliability of suppliers; obtains quotations and makes comparisons for best prices.
  • 3) Consults appropriate people/departments when substitutions may be advantageous or when problems arise.
  • 4) Controls material inventory; runs material shortage report.
  • 5) Responsible for fiscal year inventory.
  • 6) Purchases materials needed for jobs and stock; issue P.O.'s; works with shear operators regarding material received and material needed.
  • 7) Expedites open P.O.'s when necessary.
  • 8) Processes partial P.O. invoices for discounts.
  • 9) Approves and codes invoices.
  • 10) Updates vendor catalog file as needed.
  • 11) Processes outside labor orders and enters charges and quantities in computer for receiving.
  • 12) Receives material packing slips in computer.
  • 13) Enters shear tickets into the computer.
