Doug Henry Chevrolet Tarboro - Tarboro, NC This is a rare opportunity for an experienced General Motors Parts professional to join a strong dealership environment with a highly trained, world-class technician team, high Service and Parts production, and experienced coworkers with excellent tenure. We aren't simply looking to fill a Parts Manager position. We're looking for a skilled GM parts operator who understands how a great Parts Department supports the entire dealership — technicians, Service, Sales, accessories, wholesale customers, and ultimately the customer experience. What We're Looking For Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of GM dealership parts experience and a strong working knowledge of GM parts systems and processes, including: GM PASE programs and requirements GM RIM inventory management Snap-on EPC / electronic parts catalog LPO parts and processes GM Accessories and accessory sales opportunities GM online parts/e-commerce programs Special-order parts and inventory control Parts ordering, receiving, returns, and reconciliation Wholesale and retail parts operations Technician and Service Department parts support Inventory accuracy, aging, and obsolescence management Strong dealership computer and general technology skills The Person We're Looking For Great parts operations require more than knowing part numbers. We're looking for someone who is organized, detailed, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership. You should communicate well and have a solid understanding of automotive repair and dealership operations. You'll work closely with technicians, Service Advisors, Sales, management, customers, and vendors while keeping multiple priorities moving. Most importantly, you understand that Parts directly impacts technician productivity, Service Department performance, vehicle turnaround time, dealership profitability, and customer satisfaction.
