Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Parts Manager to lead ourThermo King parts department with enthusiasm and expertise. This vital role involves overseeing the sales, inventory management, and customer service ensuring a seamless experience for clients and a thriving business operation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, management ability and are self motivated . Duties Lead the parts sales team by setting goals, motivating staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service experiences. Manage inventory control, stock ordering, and parts stocking to optimize availability and reduce waste using an inventory management system and analytics. Negotiate pricing, deals, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales revenue while maintaining positive client relationships. Oversee POS (Point of Sale) transactions, cash handling, cashiering duties, and ensure accurate retail math for all sales activities. Maintain comprehensive records of parts orders, sales transactions, and inventory levels; utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting and analysis. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication skills, phone etiquette, and personalized service to foster loyalty and repeat business. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of parts and accessories. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with diagnostics knowledge. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction and profitability. Proficiency in inventory management software such as CMMS; familiarity with POS systems is essential. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and communication skills—both verbal and written—and customer relationship building expertise are critical for success in this role.
