Inventory Control / Warehouse Manager Elite Door - Nebraska Elite Door is a growing garage door company with multiple locations across Nebraska. We are looking for an organized, dependable, and hands-on Inventory Control / Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our inventory, warehouse operations, and material flow. This is a key position for someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, knows how to manage inventory accurately, and isn't afraid to jump in and get the work done. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and inventory control Receive, inspect, organize, and put away incoming materials and products Maintain accurate inventory counts across warehouse locations Track inventory coming in and going out of the warehouse Identify inventory shortages, discrepancies, damaged materials, and overstock Coordinate material and product transfers between locations Prepare materials, doors, hardware, and other products for installation and service crews Ensure warehouse stock is organized, labeled, and easy to locate Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts Work with purchasing and management to maintain appropriate inventory levels Help identify opportunities to reduce waste, unnecessary inventory, and purchasing costs Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized Assist with loading and unloading trucks and deliveries Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed Coordinate with installers, service technicians, sales, and office staff to ensure materials are available when needed Develop and maintain efficient warehouse procedures and systems Hold team members accountable for proper material handling and inventory procedures What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material management experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working with numbers and inventory systems Ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems Strong communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to work independently Comfortable working with computers and inventory/ERP software Ability to lift and move materials regularly Forklift experience is a plus Experience in construction, garage doors, building materials, or a related industry is a plus Must be dependable and willing to take ownership of the position The Right Person The ideal candidate is someone who doesn't need to be constantly told what needs to be done .
