In this pivotal role, you will manage inventory levels, coordinate procurement activities, and implement process improvements to ensure seamless supply chain flow. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, data analytics, and supplier collaboration will drive efficiency and accuracy across all inventory functions. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse distribution activities, including stock receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to maintain optimal inventory levels. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar tools for inventory tracking, data collection, and process automation. Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or supply chain issues to identify underlying problems and implement effective corrective actions. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to negotiate supplier terms, manage vendor relationships, and optimize pricing strategies. Lead category management initiatives by analyzing sales trends using data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to inform stocking decisions. Drive process improvement projects aimed at enhancing warehouse operations efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing accuracy through data mining and analytics. Manage logistics inventory management tasks including materials handling, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and demand planning to support production schedules. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, inventory control, and supply chain management with a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), Excel data analysis, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors; experience in procurement, sourcing, and pricing strategies. Analytical mindset with the ability to perform financial modeling, root cause analysis, demand planning, and supply chain analytics. Technical proficiency in materials handling equipment such as forklifts; familiarity with heavy lifting safety protocols is essential. Excellent cross-functional communication skills for collaborating with merchandising, logistics teams, and senior management. Ability to analyze large datasets using spreadsheets or specialized software for data mining, trend analysis, and forecasting. Able to speak Spanish is a whole plus, not required Able to use pallet jackets, ride on jacks, electric jacks, walking stacker.
