Material Control Supervisor Location:

Full-Time, Exempt Salary:

$110,000 - $125,000 per year

The Opportunity:

Our client is a premier manufacturer of precision-engineered equipment for critical global applications. They are seeking a Material Control Supervisor to lead warehouse operations and drive inventory excellence in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

Supervise a team of 7-10 hourly employees across receiving, stock rooms, and sub-assembly.

Inventory Control:

Manage stockroom access and processes to maintain a high standard of inventory accuracy (95%+).

Strategy & Auditing:

Develop and oversee a robust cycle counting program to improve accuracy and reduce the need for annual physical counts.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Partner with Production Planning and Purchasing to resolve material shortages and expedite essential parts for the factory floor.

Team Development:

Responsible for hiring, training, and performance evaluations for the warehouse and distribution staff.

Qualifications:

Experience:

3+ years in Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Distribution.

Skills:

Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an MIS/ERP environment for reporting and troubleshooting.

Background:

Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

Leadership:

Proven ability to manage a diverse hourly workforce and maintain immediate availability for shift supervision.
