Overview Our company leads the trucking industry by providing high-quality commercial truck parts to fleets, repair shops, and independent operators. We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Commercial Truck Parts Manager to lead our parts department and optimize the procurement, inventory, and sales of commercial truck parts. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our parts supply chain, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, inventory management systems, and logistics, with a focus on automotive parts and accessories. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in the commercial vehicle industry. Responsibilities Manage daily parts operations and inventory levels Build strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing Assist customers with parts inquiries and orders Lead, train, and motivate department staff Utilize marketing strategies to grow parts sales Demonstrate deep knowledge of commercial truck parts systems Utilize computers, word, excel and web- based applications efficiently Skills Minimum of 10 years of experience as a commercial truck parts manager Extensive experience in supply chain management within the automotive or trucking industry. Proven supplier management experience with a focus on negotiation and sourcing. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and automotive parts management. Knowledge of procurement management processes including purchasing, demand planning, pricing strategies, and sourcing techniques. Familiarity with logistics inventory management practices such as shipping & receiving procedures. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive service procedures and auto body repair processes. Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining detailed records of parts administration. Excellent internal communication skills for coordinating with various departments including sales, customer service, and logistics teams. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse environment. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms. Knowledge of OEM standards and compliance requirements within the trucking industry.

Pay:
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
