Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of inventory management within our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. This role requires a proactive approach to managing inventory levels, utilizing inventory management software, and supporting purchasing activities to meet organizational needs. The Inventory Manager will play a key role in receiving and organizing customer inventory, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes. Responsibilities Manage daily inventory operations, including tracking stock levels and updating records to ensure accuracy. Utilize inventory management software to monitor inventory data, generate reports, and optimize stock control. Coordinate cross-functional communication between warehouse staff, procurement teams, and other relevant departments to streamline operations. Oversee warehouse activities such as receiving shipments, organizing stock, and ensuring proper storage procedures are followed. Support purchasing processes by providing inventory insights and forecasting needs to facilitate timely procurement. Receive customer inventory shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or documentation, and organize items efficiently within the warehouse. Skills Strong experience with inventory management systems and software tools. Proficiency in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing large volumes of stock data. Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, organizing, and storing inventory items. Ability to support purchasing activities through accurate inventory forecasting and analysis. Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies or issues related to inventory accuracy or logistics.
