HELP WANTED
PARTS MANAGER Small, growing manufacturing business is looking for a dependable, organized Parts Manager to join our team. This is a physical job, and ideal candidates must be able to go up and down stairs and ladders mulitple times per day, and lift heavy objects We build fuel oil delivery trucks and operate a machine shop , so this is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities. The right person will be comfortable working with customers, suppliers, inventory, and our shop team in a fast-paced small-business environment. Responsibilities Order parts, supplies, and shop materials Receive, inspect, and put away incoming shipments Stock and organize parts shelves and inventory Assist customers at the parts counter Answer incoming phone calls and handle parts inquiries Prepare and ship parts and orders Maintain accurate inventory and keep parts organized Work with mechanics, machinists, and other employees to locate and obtain needed parts Identify and source parts as needed Keep the parts area clean, organized, and efficient Perform other duties as needed in a small-business environment Qualifications Previous parts, warehouse, inventory, automotive, truck, or mechanical experience is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Dependable and able to work independently Comfortable dealing with customers and vendors Basic computer skills Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with truck parts is helpful Must be able to lift and move parts and shipments as required We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. No two days are exactly alike in our shop.
