Responsibilities Manage and optimize the entire vehicle inventory lifecycle, including stocking, ordering, and disposition processes. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, analyze data, and generate reports for decision-making. Coordinate with procurement teams to source vehicles efficiently, negotiate supplier contracts, and ensure timely delivery aligned with demand planning. Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or supply chain disruptions to implement effective process improvements. Oversee logistics operations related to shipping & receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to maintain accurate stock levels. Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and support strategic planning. Collaborate across departments including merchandising, materials management, and warehouse operations to streamline inventory control procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, warehouse management systems (WMS), or supply chain management within the automotive or related industry. Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, and data collection techniques. Expertise in procurement, sourcing, pricing strategies, and supplier management experience. Familiarity with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms; technical proficiency in inventory management software is essential. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies like root cause analysis and category management. Knowledge of logistics inventory management including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and 3PL (third-party logistics). Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with sales teams, logistics providers, and suppliers effectively. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary; experience with forklift operation is a plus. Strong analytical mindset with experience using Power BI or Tableau for data visualization; familiarity with Nielsen or other market data sources is advantageous.
