Job Description

Part-Time Material Services Associate Strategic Summary The Material Services Associate is responsible for supporting daily production and fulfillment operations through effective management of materials, inventory, shipping, and receiving activities. This role ensures that materials are available for production, customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and inventory is maintained with a high level of accuracy. Tactical Summary Shipping & Order Fulfillment Ship finished goods to customers in accordance with confirmed orders Coordinate and track work orders to ensure timely completion Expedite and prioritize work orders based on production and customer needs Manage special orders and customer-specific requirements Oversee packaging processes and track packaging materials Process and manage customer DTRs (Discrepancy/Return Transactions) Production Support Supply necessary materials to the production floor to maintain workflow Coordinate with production teams to ensure material availability Adjust and manage purchase orders (POs) as needed to support operations Receiving & Inventory Management Receive raw materials and components as ordered Verify and process all incoming materials required for operations Manage returned dunnage from customers Maintain and manage physical inventory, ensuring accuracy and organization Track and manage scrap materials in accordance with company procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in materials management, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations Familiarity with inventory systems and work order tracking Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Skills Experience with ERP or inventory management systems Knowledge of production or manufacturing environments Strong communication skills across departments Work Environment Manufacturing and/or warehouse setting Requires standing, lifting, and moving materials The above description covers examples of the type of work performed in this job classification but does not exclude other job tasks that may be assigned. This position will be a split shift that will cover 1st shift and 2nd shift Hours could vary: 10am-4pm/11am-5pm/12pm-6pm - approximately 28 hours/week (Monday-Friday)
