Parts Manager Position Summary Ohio Farm Supply is seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Parts Manager to support the Parts Manager in the daily operation of our agricultural equipment parts department. This position plays an important role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate inventory, supporting our service and sales departments, and helping customers find the correct parts for their equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer-service abilities, mechanical or agricultural knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment. Experience with New Holland/ Case IH equipment or other farm equipment is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Assist the Parts Manager with the daily operation and organization of the parts department. Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers at the parts counter and by phone. Identify and sell parts for New Holland agricultural equipment and other brands of farm machinery. Use electronic parts catalogs and dealership systems to accurately identify parts and determine availability. Assist customers and technicians in finding the correct parts for repairs and maintenance. Prepare parts quotes, sales orders, invoices, and special orders accurately. Assist with receiving, inspecting, labeling, and stocking incoming parts. Maintain organized and accurate parts inventory. Assist with regular inventory counts and investigate inventory discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and help identify parts that need to be reordered. Assist with returns, warranty parts, core returns, and parts exchanges. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department. Work closely with the service department to ensure technicians receive the parts they need in a timely manner. Support the sales department with equipment parts information when needed. Assist the Parts Manager with pricing, promotions, and parts merchandising. Help train and support other parts department employees as assigned. Develop positive relationships with farmers, agricultural businesses, technicians, and other customers. Maintain a professional attitude and represent Ohio Farm Supply positively in all customer interactions. Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager or dealership management. Qualifications Previous experience in an agricultural equipment, automotive, trucking, or heavy-equipment parts department preferred. Knowledge of farm equipment and agricultural applications strongly preferred. New Holland parts and equipment experience is a plus. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to accurately identify parts using electronic parts catalogs and diagrams. Comfortable using computers, inventory systems, email, and other dealership technology. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment. Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, salespeople, and other employees. Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to understand equipment components and systems. Ability to lift and move parts and packages as required. Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, operate a computer and telephone, and occasionally lift and move parts or packages.
