Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Parts Manager to lead and optimize our automotive parts operations across multiple locations within the region. This pivotal role involves overseeing parts inventory, supplier relationships, procurement processes, and logistics to ensure seamless parts availability for automotive service and repair. Duties Lead regional parts operations by managing inventory levels, warehouse processes, and parts administration to maximize efficiency and accuracy. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships through effective negotiation, sourcing, and procurement management to secure quality parts at competitive prices. Oversee demand planning, order management systems, and logistics inventory management to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts and accessories. Utilize ERP systems, inventory management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and AS400 platforms for data entry, order processing, and inventory control. Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper shipping procedures, accurate documentation, and compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards. Implement continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse management, parts sourcing, and inventory control to optimize operational workflows. Collaborate with internal teams on customer service strategies, vehicle systems diagnostics support, and automotive repair needs to enhance overall client satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing industry with a focus on parts sourcing and procurement. Strong supplier management experience with excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and build lasting partnerships. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, automotive parts & accessories knowledge, and automotive service processes. Proficiency in warehouse management practices along with familiarity with inventory management systems such as ERP platforms, CMMS, or AS400. Hands-on experience with logistics inventory management including shipping & receiving procedures and shipping documentation. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair equipment or HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and internal communication effectively. Valid forklift certification preferred; experience with equipment repair is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, parts administration, demand planning, pricing strategies, and internal communication channels. Strong problem-solving abilities combined with proactive leadership qualities to motivate teams across multiple locations.
