$38.00-$40.00/hour About the Role We are seeking a Flow Controller to support supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted flow of materials, components, and finished goods through the supply chain while collaborating closely with suppliers, production teams, planning groups, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong supply chain background with experience in purchasing, replenishment planning, production planning, order management, and supplier relationship management. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as this position works cross-functionally to resolve material shortages, manage supplier performance, and support business continuity. Key Responsibilities Manage the continuous flow of raw materials, components, and subassemblies to support manufacturing operations. Coordinate purchasing activities and maintain supplier relationships to ensure material availability. Manage replenishment planning activities, including purchase order creation, monitoring, and rescheduling. Track and resolve supplier delivery issues, backorders, and component shortages. Support production planning and queue management efforts to align supply with manufacturing demand. Monitor and manage open purchase orders and supplier confirmations. Utilize MRP systems to identify material requirements and proactively address supply chain risks. Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to drive improvements in inventory flow and supplier performance. Collaborate with planning, procurement, operations, and manufacturing teams to meet production goals. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, service, and cost optimization. Escalate recurring supply issues and partner with stakeholders to develop corrective actions. Perform cost analysis and support supplier performance reviews when necessary. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, planning, or related functions. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of supplier management, purchasing processes, inventory control, and replenishment planning. Experience managing production schedules, order management, and material flow. Preferred Qualifications Engineering degree strongly preferred. Experience with
SAP, SAP
S/4HANA, or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Experience performing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) or other cost analyses. Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
