Responsibilities Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, PA Corporate Center for a Plant Materials Manager. In this role you will be counted on for the following activities: Convert and maintain the supply plan into production plans, where demand flowing downstream and completion dates flowing upstream are accurate and reliable. Perform work center capacity and finite planning to achieve on time delivery to promise and to the market expected lead time (MELT). Set executable production plans. Manage inventory movement functions (delivery to production, receiving, shipping, etc.) in timely manner, as defined by the customer. Perform accurate and timely inventory transactions. Maintain master data as standard work and drive accountability through materials management organization. Lead a departmental function owning the control and movement of inventory, review inventory adjustments, and implement root cause and corrective action systems. Drive ownership and awareness through the plant. Conduct timely and accurate movement of inventory inside the plant. Manage accurate Blocked, Consignment, and QM-Stock inventories. Lead Inactive and Obsolete process, which includes identification through physical disposal. Lead a team to receive incoming goods with 24 hours of the receipt or develop a designated queue and process for handling exceptions. Ship outgoing goods the same day they enter the department or develop a designated queue and process for handling exceptions. Maintain quantifiable accountability measurements for each department. Develop and maintain budget and manage the labor to meet customer demands. Create and maintain standards for warehousing where pallets and packaging are neatly and safely organized and located accurately in accordance with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) location. Maintain 95% inventory accuracy or higher. Actively own and maintain responsibility and root cause and corrective action tracking on all inventory discrepancies. Lead each employee through monthly 1:1 sessions, discussing training, personal/professional development planning, career planning, open feedback, open communication, and personal accountability, with the intent to grow each employee to reach their full potential. Use coaching principles to drive change in negative behaviors, and also provide opportunities to bolster employee's strengths. Foster a growth mindset in the team. Continue to find better ways to utilize our ERP system where a customer sales order is placed, and delivery is made to that original promise date, within the MELT target. Leverage automation in making transactions and warehousing to control costs and improve accuracy. Foster a continuous improvement culture in the team where the improvement ideas are derived and executed. Collaborate with the plant leadership team and drive continuous improvement activities. Utilize MSA Operating System to facilitate daily meetings, monitor department performance, track key actions, and drive problem solving exercises. Develop and maintain positive work relationships with associate's at all organizational levels, both internal and external to the plant, including collaboration with key teams such as Demand Planning and our MSA distribution centers.Qualifications Proven ability to:

Special knowledge, skills and abilities preferred: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with bar coding, RF-scanners, lot control, serialization. Proficient with Power BI.Education required:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field. Professional Certification such asISM:
CIPS/CPSM and or ASCM:
CPIM/CSCP.
Experience required: 7 years materials management, production planning, warehousing, inventory control experience or related discipline. Leadership experience of professional and/or production level associates.Preferred:
5 years ERP experience.Experience Preferred:
