Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Automotive Parts Manager to lead our parts department in the Greensburg, PA area with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and repair teams. Your expertise in supply chain management, supplier relations, and automotive diagnostics will drive efficiency, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage the entire lifecycle of automotive parts inventory, including sourcing, purchasing, pricing, demand planning, and parts administration. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through effective negotiation and supplier management experience to secure quality parts at competitive prices. Oversee warehouse operations, including logistics inventory management, shipping & receiving, and equipment repair to ensure timely availability of parts. Utilize inventory management systems such as ERP systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), AS400, and internal order management systems for accurate data entry and inventory control. Coordinate with automotive service teams to understand parts requirements, support auto body repair projects, and ensure vehicle systems are properly serviced with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Implement best practices for parts sourcing and procurement management while maintaining compliance with safety standards such as forklift operation and HVAC considerations where applicable. Lead internal communication efforts across departments to streamline order processing, demand planning, and customer service initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong background in automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and automotive parts & accessories knowledge. Demonstrated ability in warehouse management, logistics inventory management, and parts administration. Proficiency with inventory management systems such as ERP platforms, CMMS software, AS400, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and other data entry tools. Hands-on experience with procurement management, sourcing strategies, negotiation skills, and purchasing processes. Mechanical knowledge of automotive components combined with familiarity in auto body repair processes is highly desirable. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one; familiarity with equipment repair is a plus. Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate between departments effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service.
