Job Summary The Warehouse Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, transportation coordination, and warehouse staff management. This role ensures that products and materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting customer and business requirements. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and inventory-management skills, with a solid understanding of warehouse and logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse and logistics employees. Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows. Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Monitor order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and on-time shipment. Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments. Track shipments and resolve delivery, receiving, and transportation issues. Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and organization of products and materials. Monitor warehouse space utilization and implement strategies to improve capacity and efficiency. Establish and monitor key performance such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, productivity, and transportation costs. Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, shipping records, inventory records, and logistics reports. Work closely with purchasing, sales, customer service, production, and finance teams to coordinate supply-chain activities. Manage relationships with transportation providers, third-party logistics companies, and other external partners. Investigate inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, shipment delays, and other operational issues. Operate and oversee the use of warehouse management systems, scanners, and other logistics technology. Lead continuous-improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse and transportation processes. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply-chain operations. Previous supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory-management practices. Experience with warehouse management systems and workflow Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, transportation, and inventory-control processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, carriers, and internal departments.
