Role Description The Assistant Parts Manager Toyota is a full-time, on-site role based at Tri County Toyota in Limerick, PA. This role supports daily operations of the parts department, including assisting with inventory management, ordering and receiving parts, and maintaining accurate stock records. The Assistant Parts Manager helps team members and customers identify and source the correct Toyota parts, provides timely updates on order status, and supports efficient parts counter and back-end operations. Responsibilities include coordinating with service advisors and technicians to ensure parts availability, monitoring parts performance and returns, and contributing to process improvements to enhance department productivity and customer satisfaction. This role also involves training and supporting parts staff, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to dealership and manufacturer policies and safety standards. Qualifications Parts operations and inventory management skills, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking automotive parts. Customer service and communication skills to assist service teams and retail customers with parts selection, availability, and status updates. Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with Toyota parts, catalogs, and dealer management systems or similar software. Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and resolve parts-related issues efficiently. Leadership and teamwork abilities to support the Parts Manager, guide staff, and collaborate effectively with service and sales departments. Prior experience in an automotive parts department or dealership environment strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or automotive training is a plus. Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights during the workday and to comply with all safety procedures.
