About the Role As the Production Control & Logistics Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end flow of materials and production schedules within our manufacturing facility. Your primary focus involves translating customer needs into actionable plans, ensuring material readiness, and optimizing the movement of goods. We are seeking a seasoned leader with a deep background in supply chain and operations who can effectively balance production capacity with logistics demands and inventory targets. Core Responsibilities Production Control & Planning Create and refine the Master Production Schedule by integrating sales data, customer needs, and resource availability. Track daily output against targets to help ensure the team consistently meets customer delivery expectations. Oversee capacity planning, load balancing, and the management of production constraints. Work alongside operations managers to align labor and equipment availability with shifting production priorities. Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions to help maintain seamless delivery performance. Materials & Inventory Management Guarantee that all necessary raw materials and components are available to support uninterrupted production. Design and implement inventory strategies that improve accuracy and optimize safety stock levels. Coordinate with the Purchasing team to synchronize incoming supplier deliveries with production schedules. Track material shortages and identify risks to inventory health. Investigate the root causes of supply gaps to help drive effective, long-term corrective solutions. Enhance overall working capital performance by improving material availability and inventory precision. Logistics, ERP & Data Management Champion continuous improvement initiatives across all inbound and outbound logistics processes. Coordinate with freight carriers to manage delivery timelines and control transportation expenses. Maintain strict adherence to customer shipping standards, including packaging, labeling, and EDI/ASN accuracy. Leverage ERP/MRP tools to streamline scheduling, material planning, and operational reporting. Evaluate performance data to uncover trends and identify opportunities for operational growth. Establish and track key metrics to help improve the performance of logistics and production control. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Sales to support new product launches and manage demand fluctuations. Facilitate cross-departmental communication regarding production priorities and delivery commitments. Work with Sales and Customer Service to refine delivery schedules based on evolving customer requirements. Support

processes to ensure production plans remain aligned with broader business goals. Foster a culture of Lean Manufacturing to help improve efficiency across all logistics and material processes. Qualifications Five to eight years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or production planning within a manufacturing setting. Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. Proven track record of utilizing ERP/MRP systems in a professional capacity. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central is considered an asset. Comprehensive knowledge of material flow, inventory control, and manufacturing planning principles. A demonstrated commitment to Lean Manufacturing and ongoing process improvement. APICS/ASCM
certification, such as CPIM or CSCP, is a plus. Deep understanding of inventory optimization, demand planning, and supplier performance management. Physical & Travel Requirements Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 30 pounds. Capacity to stand, sit, and walk for extended durations. Willingness to travel up to 15% annually.
