Hybrid in Kohler, WI. The Manager, SIOP-Demand Planning for Power Systems is responsible for leading the end-to-end demand planning process and serving as the owner of the demand signal for the Power Systems business. This role drives accurate, data-driven demand plans that align commercial insights, configurable product requirements, and financial objectives to support business growth. This position guides and oversees the Demand Review within the monthly SIOP process and ensures alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. The role integrates demand signals from industrial backup power markets, data center expansion, and project-based customer demand. The Manager translates unconstrained and constrained demand into actionable plans and revenue forecasts, providing clear visibility to risks and opportunities while advancing SIOP maturity.Specific Responsibilities:
Demand Planning Leadership & Ownership- Lead and develop a team of demand planners responsible for forecasting across Power Systems product lines and regions.
- Own the end-to-end demand planning process across Power Systems product lines and regions.
- Develop and manage a rolling demand plan (24 months) reflecting industrial and data center-driven demand.
- Establish governance and accountability for forecast ownership across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement of forecasting KPIs including forecast accuracy and bias. Forecast Development, Analytics & Configurable Products
- Establish forecasting methodologies, standards, and governance to ensure consistent, high-quality demand plans across the organization.
- Oversee the development of statistical baseline forecasts and the integration of commercial, product, and market intelligence into a Consensus Demand Plan.
- Guide the team in managing demand planning for highly configurable products within a complex manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment between product configurations, options, and customer requirements.
- Drive advanced demand analytics and scenario planning to evaluate risks and opportunities across project pipelines, major customer programs, and market shifts.
- Provide direction on root cause analysis of forecast performance, ensuring insights translate into actionable improvements. SIOP Leadership & Revenue Alignment
- Lead the Executive SIOP Review within the monthly SIOP cycle.
- Align cross-functional stakeholders on assumptions and consensus demand plans.
- Translate unconstrained and constrained demand plans into actionable, aligned revenue forecasts in partnership with Finance.
- Develop and present demand scenarios including risks and opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Planning to align demand, project pipelines, and execution plans.
- Translate demand plans into financial and operational inputs.
- Drive accountability for forecast accuracy across the organization. Data & Systems
- Utilize SAP, Kinaxis Maestro, and analytics tools to monitor forecast performance.
- Drive enhancements to forecasting models, system capabilities, and automation.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of demand planning data. Continuous Improvement
- Advance demand planning maturity and SIOP effectiveness.
- Implement best practices in forecasting and process governance.
- Provide training and mentorship to strengthen planning capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Demand Planning, SIOP, or related roles.
- Experience in configurable or engineered-to-order product environments preferred.
- Strong expertise in forecasting methodologies and demand analytics.
- Experience with SAP, Kinaxis Maestro, or similar systems preferred.
- Advanced analytical, communication, and leadership skills. The Salary range for this position is $107,650.00
