Parts Operations Manager Location:
Itasca, IL Compensation:
$119,000 ~ $124,000/year
DOE Hours:
Full-Time, start between 7:30am ~ 9am, must work 8hrs/day. 1hr lunch included.

Please review thoroughly before submitting your application. ※ Company Overview An established U.S. manufacturer and distributor of engines, performance components, and related industrial products is seeking a Parts Operations Manager to lead its aftermarket parts operations. The organization supports customers, OEMs, distributors, and suppliers throughout the U.S. and internationally. Position Summary The Parts Operations Manager oversees supply chain, inventory, pricing, forecasting, distribution, and customer service activities for the aftermarket parts business. Key Responsibilities Lead daily Parts Department operations and a team of approximately 10 employees across two locations. Develop and execute supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and parts availability. Manage S&OP processes integrating demand, supply, inventory, and distribution planning. Develop annual action plans to support parts sales growth and manage departmental budgets. Oversee parts pricing, inventory forecasting, and related operational controls. Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements. Collaborate with Sales, Service, Finance, and Manufacturing on operational strategies and vendor/distributor relationships. Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers, distributors, and OEM customers regarding inventory, pricing, service, and business growth. Lead and support customer service staff and provide employee training as needed. Travel primarily domestically, with occasional international travel.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree. Professional English proficiency. 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, automotive, engines, industrial equipment, parts, or other closely related industry. Management or supervisory experience. Customer service and/or parts operations experience. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to travel as required. Must be local to the area; relocation assistance is not available. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
Preferred:
Experience with engines, aftermarket parts, supply chain, or parts distribution. ERP system experience. Japanese language ability. Experience managing teams across multiple locations. Other Details This is primarily an on-site position. Occasional work from home may be considered depending on business needs. The ideal candidate is positive, flexible, open-minded, collaborative, and comfortable taking a hands-on approach to supporting the team and broader operation. ※This role may include additional responsibilities as needed based on business needs. ※
