Job Description

Quartermaster / Logistics Lead (Paramedic) Code 4 Emergency Services - Austin, TX (COTA) Code 4 Emergency Services is seeking a highly organized, systems-driven Quartermaster / Logistics Lead to oversee medical inventory, logistics, and equipment readiness for large-scale events, including operations at Circuit of the Americas (COTA). This role is critical to ensuring our teams are equipped, prepared, and mission-ready at all times. Position Overview The Quartermaster is responsible for: Managing and organizing all medical inventory and equipment Leading the full implementation and ongoing management of Operative IQ Supporting field operations as a DSHS Credentialed Paramedic when needed This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives on building systems, solving logistical challenges, and taking ownership of operational excellence. Schedule Part-time, on location at COTA, remote monitoring of inventory through Operative IQ, once implemented Additional hours may be available based on operational needs and system development work Opportunity for track medical shift coverage after receiving training Key Responsibilities Inventory & Logistics Maintain accurate inventory levels across all units and storage locations Organize and standardize equipment layouts and supply systems Manage ordering, restocking, and vendor coordination Track usage trends and forecast supply needs Operative IQ (Critical Function) Lead full implementation of Operative IQ across the organization Maintain system accuracy and integrity Develop and deliver training materials for staff (Paycom Learning Center, etc.) Serve as the subject matter expert for inventory systems Operational Support Respond to staffing gaps as a licensed paramedic when needed Ensure all equipment is deployment-ready for events Minimum Qualifications Texas DSHS Licensed Paramedic (required) Strong organizational and systems-thinking mindset Experience with inventory management (EMS, fire, or similar preferred) Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Reliable and consistent early-morning availability Preferred Qualifications Experience with Operative IQ Background in EMS logistics, supply chain, or fleet/equipment management Experience developing training materials or SOPs Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and role structure Opportunity for full-time or part-time placement Additional compensation for field response / paramedic coverage Why This Role Matters This position plays a direct role in the success of high-profile operations. Pay:
$50,754.71 - $61,123.95 per year
