Job Summary The Supply Chain Analytics Intern will work closely with HOJIA's operations team to analyze purchasing, inventory, and vendor data across our brands. This is a hands-on, analysis-focused role suited to a student or recent graduate who wants full cycle experience applying data analysis to real supply chain decisions in a multi-brand food & beverage business. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate sales, purchasing, inventory, and vendor data across HOJIA's brands and locations. Analyze sales and inventory trends to identify top-selling products, slow periods, waste, and cost-saving opportunities. Communicate with overseas suppliers to track ingredients and supply costs over time, flagging price trends or variances that affect margins. Reconcile store-level usage against warehouse deliveries to keep inventory records accurate. Maintain a vendor/supplier database (pricing, lead times, order minimums, performance history) and help evaluate vendor performance, flagging quality or compliance issues. Build reports and dashboards (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar) to track supply chain KPIs such as cost per unit, order accuracy, delivery timeliness, and inventory turns. Support forecasting of ingredient and supply usage across store locations to inform purchasing, warehousing, and receiving decisions. Support new store openings on-site, setting up operating routines, running through opening checklists, and helping the store team get comfortable with day-to-day workflows. Conduct store visits to ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, service expectations, product quality, cleanliness, and operational procedures. Monitor store performance, including staffing, scheduling, labor, inventory, waste, customer experience, and overall operational efficiency. Provide hands-on, in-store support for underperforming, transitioning, or newly opened locations, working alongside the Store Manager rather than in place of them. Help maintain and update SOPs, training materials, and checklists so they stay accurate and easy for store teams to follow. Document findings and present recommendations to the operations team. Collaborate with HR, marketing, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to support company and brand goals. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's or higher degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field. 1-2 experience in the supply chain, operation, or food and beverage industry. Proficiency in Excel, comfortable working with data sets. Familiarity with data visualization tools (Python or SQL) Willing and able to travel within California and to other states, including temporary assignments of several weeks if required. Bilingual in Chinese is plus but not required.
