Job Description
Overview We are looking for candidates with hospital Supply Chain experience with current or prior positions that are Director level and above. This is a hybrid remote position with weekly onsite work in the Supply Chain department/System. Dartmouth Health is located in the state of NH. The Senior Director, Supply Chain Transformation Design and Enablement leads the design, planning, and execution of enterprise-wide supply chain and support services transformation initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes and optimal cost performance. This role defines strategic priorities, assigns and aligns resources, and oversees the delivery and tracking of complex transformation efforts, including initiative-level reporting and performance measurement. The Senior Director ensures initiatives are effectively executed, drives standardization and process improvement, and enables sustainable change across the organization by aligning people, processes, and technology to achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities Leads and manages enterprise-wide supply chain and support services transformation initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivery of measurable value in clinical and non-clinical areas. Oversees day-to-day transformation operations, establishing, standardizing, and continuously improving processes, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Directs data integrity and master data management efforts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across systems and analytics platforms. Leads process mapping, redesign, and optimization initiatives, applying structured methodologies to improve workflows and drive sustainable operational improvements. Oversees data architecture and analytics capabilities, enabling actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Conducts and leads root cause analyses to identify performance gaps and implement solutions that improve processes and outcomes across functional areas. Benchmarks, evaluates, and implements leading practices, ensuring continuous innovation and optimization of supply chain operations and transformation efforts. Provides leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance while developing team capabilities. Oversees and tracks project performance against plans, tracks progress across initiatives, and communicates status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders. Drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and policies, ensuring efficient and effective execution of initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA) preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within healthcare, supply chain, or complex operational environments. Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management, including ERP and EMR systems, contract management software, EDI/GHX platforms, and services contracting. Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with accounting principles, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supplier/market analysis. Hands-on experience with project management methodologies, including estimating, scheduling, planning, and performance tracking, using tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Oracle Projects, or similar platforms. Working knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and experience applying Agile, Waterfall, or similar methodologies. Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and process improvement or simulation tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of ownership and results delivery. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Must obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification within 6 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment. Required Licensure/Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification within 6 months.
