SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Full Circle Recycling is a family owned business looking to grow our expanding team by filling our Fleet Maintenance/Purchasing position. This position is responsible for buying goods and services necessary for our business. This candidate will possess the means and opportunity to raise our profits by making the most high quality and cost-effective purchases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchases products and supplies for the company, while striving to sustain the best quality for the lowest cost Researches and locates suppliers for new products as needed Possesses the desire to familiarize themselves with yard equipment and machinery, and company processes used Develops and maintains mutually beneficial supplier relationships Monitors a purchasing system to maintain inventory levels and availability (Managers Plus) Plan for and purchase supplies for equipment maintenance Point of contact for facility maintenance issues Resolves issues related to inventory return, replacement, and credit arrangements Maintains equipment maintenance files, using a CMMS to determine needed maintenance frequencies Must be able to handle multiple priorities and re-prioritize as needed Abilities to apply individual reasoning to solve problems Performs other duties as needed or assigned Update all asset maintenance plans with Managers Plus Input all outside work into Manager Plus Straighten out inventory and manage parts Procure parts for upcoming pms and repairs in partnership with purchasing agent Make new work orders fore probelms written up on daily inspections Check EDS, Samsara, Manager Plus DVIR reports daily and make work orders if necessary and sign

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years' proven experience in Fleet Maintenance or Purchasing Familiarity with CMMS, particularly Manager Plus Must be 18 years of age Experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions Knowledge of data analysis and purchasing practices Working knowledge of MS Office and purchasing software Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset Communication skills to negotiate effectively and maintain profitable relationships Ability to "Think out of the box" to address difficult issues Working knowledge of commercial trucks, construction equipment, and industrial equipment a plus Capability to work independently or with a group Dependable and consistent work ethic

JOB CONDITIONS

Employees may be required to wear protective gear, safety boots, goggles, a helmet, and gloves. Exposure to physical operations at metal recycling yards; may include but not limited to walking/climbing in active Industrial yards with uneven surfaces and to out-of-the-way areas. Occasional exposure to inclement weather conditions.
