Duncan, SC We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Inventory Manager to lead our materials management, stock control, and warehouse logistics operations. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the integrity of our physical and digital inventory systems, supporting our

2016 certified manufacturing plant. You will ensure optimal stock levels of raw substrates, foam, adhesives, packaging, and finished automotive/industrial components. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, extensive ERP experience, and a background in automotive or manufacturing supply chains.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inventory Integrity & Tracking:
Maintain absolute accuracy of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods in the company's ERP system.
Cycle Counting & Audits:
Design and execute routine physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations to minimize variances.
Material Replenishment:
Monitor production demand, analyze lead times, and place replenishment orders to prevent shortages without creating excessive surplus.
Quality & Compliance Control:
Collaborate with the Quality Department to handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA). Ensure warehouse logistics strictly meet
IATF 16949
2016 quality standards.
Supplier & Logistics Coordination:
Build strong relationships with vendors and freight carriers to track daily inbound shipments of raw lamination substrates.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Extract, analyze, and present inventory metrics, turnover rates, and potential bottlenecks to upper management.
Team Leadership:
Direct and mentor warehouse material handlers and inventory clerks, enforcing standard operating procedures and OSHA safety regulations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (Equivalent experience considered).
Experience:
5+ years of dedicated warehouse or materials management experience specifically within a manufacturing environment (automotive or textile sector preferred).
Technical Skills:
Proficient with modern ERP/WMS software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced, heavy spreadsheet skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of manufacturing lamination, slitting, or automotive tier-supplier logistics.
Certifications:
APICS CPIM
(Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) or CSCP is highly desirable.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, bend, and safely navigate a busy manufacturing facility; must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
