Inventory/Warehouse Team Lead 1st Shift
JOB DESCRIPTION
Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NY. The Team Lead position is full time and based at our facility location in Lamar, SC. We are looking for someone who can help lead a team of inventory and warehouse workers to receive and record raw material as it comes in and move it onto trucks or through the plant as needed. In addition; monitoring schedules, monitoring stock levels at the warehouse and knowing when to replenish stock. The Team Lead must be focused, making sure every item in stock gets to its destination on time and that there are no shortages for current and future jobs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned or requested.- Assist the Inventory Supervisor with the ordering, receiving, and issuing of all raw materials in an industrial warehouse setting.
- Work directly with the Inventory Supervisor to create a daily production schedule and create job travelers/packet.
- 75% of time dedicated to being on the warehouse floor focused on employee interaction, material management, Leader Standard Work, and production board updates.
- Raw materials must be received and issued out of the system daily to maintain an accurate inventory.
- Assists with resolving issues in weekly cycle counts, monitor scrap levels, and coordinate pickups.
- Review new job projects to order material accordingly.
- Assist with planning and coordination of the annual end-of-year physical inventory process for all raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and minimal disruption to operations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, in alignment with evolving business needs and priorities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Inventory/Receiving management in an industrial warehouse setting.
- Minimum of a high school diploma with higher education in inventory control or business preferred.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management software; knowledge of Epicor is a plus.
- Analytical mind, strong in math with an aptitude for numbers.
- Critical attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to be proactive, confident, and react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay:
