$80,000-100,000, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Logistics Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution functions. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping operations while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and productivity. The Logistics Manager will lead warehouse personnel, optimize operational workflows, manage inventory accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities Optimize warehouse layout and workflow efficiency to maximize storage and productivity Safeguard warehouse operations and inventory by establishing and maintaining security procedures Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance as needed Inventory Control Manage inventory levels through cycle counts and physical inventory audits Reconcile physical inventory with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Monitor incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products for quality and accuracy Maintain inventory levels to support production demands while minimizing shortages and overstock Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner Logistics & Shipping Coordinate shipping schedules and carrier pickups Work with third-party carriers and vendors to support efficient transportation and delivery operations Monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse personnel Delegate tasks effectively and monitor employee performance Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve productivity and accountability Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development initiatives Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce a strong culture of workplace safety Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions Ensure proper operation and maintenance of forklifts and warehouse equipment Continuous Improvement Analyze warehouse KPIs and operational performance metrics Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow processes Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and waste reduction programs Assist with budgeting, operational planning, and cost control efforts Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred 3-5 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Experience using barcode scanners and warehouse technology Valid driver's license required Forklift certification preferred Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping procedures What We're Looking For Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Safety-focused mindset with strong accountability Team player with a positive and professional attitude Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and move materials as needed Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment Availability for overtime as needed Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Life insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Stable and growing company Supportive team-oriented work environment Apply Today Join a growing team that values safety, efficiency, teamwork, and continuous improvement while offering opportunities for long-term career growth.Job Type:
