In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring seamless coordination across transportation, warehousing, and distribution functions. Your leadership will drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of service delivery. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of distribution operations, including transportation planning, warehouse management, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize inventory control, shipping & receiving, and distribution processes Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across supply chain functions Develop and monitor budgets related to logistics activities such as freight costs, procurement, and warehouse operations while maintaining profitability (profit & loss accountability) Supervise warehouse staff and logistics teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance through effective team management and managerial communication Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and other external partners to ensure efficient transportation management and distribution management Utilize supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement, demand planning accuracy, inventory management optimization, and overall operational excellence Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision, distribution operations, or logistics management with a strong background in supervising teams within a fast-paced environment Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles including procurement, materials management, production planning, inventory control, and freight/shipping & receiving processes Proficiency in ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning), warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or continuous improvement strategies applied within logistics or warehouse settings Experience managing budgets related to transportation planning, freight costs, procurement, and overall supply chain activities Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while coordinating across multiple departments or external partners Familiarity with demand planning techniques, inventory management best practices, and supply chain analytics tools to support operational decision-making Join us as a Delivery Manager where your leadership will shape the future of our logistics network!
